Rockets recall G Taylor

The Houston Rockets have recalled guard Jermaine Taylor from their developmental league affiliate.

The Rockets announced the move Thursday. They assigned the 6-foot-4 Taylor to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Jan. 28. He scored 30 and 32 points respectively in games against Albuquerque on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Taylor has averaged 2.4 points in 13 games with the Rockets this season. The rookie from Central Florida had his draft rights acquired by Houston from Washington, after the Wizards selected him with the 32nd overall pick.
