Report: Pacers' Hill arrested on reckless driving charges
Indiana Pacers big man Jordan Hill was arrested on reckless driving charges in Atlanta, Georgia, according to WSB-TV of Atlanta.
Hill, who signed a one-year, $5 million deal with the Pacers this offseason, was reportedly driving 107 miles per hour.
Mike Petchenik of WSB tweeted out dashboard footage of Hill speeding and getting arrested:
Pacers president of basketball operations Larry Bird issued the following statement on the incident:
"We have been informed Jordan was arrested for allegedly reckless driving in Atlanta, Georgia. It is obvious we don't condone this. We will address this with Jordan. This is a major concern of safety, not just for Jordan, but for others."
Hill, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers the last three seasons, is coming off a 2014-15 season in which he averaged career highs in points (12) and rebounds (7.9). He is penciled in to start and replace former Pacers center Roy Hibbert, who was traded to the Lakers this summer.
