It appears that LaMarcus Aldridge plans to take his time during what has been an extensive free agency tour over the past several hours.

According to Yahoo Sports NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Aldridge has granted the Los Angeles Lakerssecond meeting after the teamreportedly failed to impress the All-Star big man in their first meeting on Wednesday.

This has to be considered a pretty big surprise based on the negative reports that came from the first meeting between the two sides. It also comes on the heels of both the San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Sunsclearing up cap space for an extensive run at Aldridge.

It could be one last shot in the dark for a Lakers team that has missed out on all of its top-end free agent targets over the past 36 hours or so. Earlier on Thursday, Greg Monroe chose the Milwaukee Bucks over Los Angeles. If the team is somehow able to convince Aldridge to come to Southern California, it would be a tremendous coup.
