Report: D'Angelo Russell to work out for Timberwolves next week

If Kentucky's Karl-Anthony Towns and Duke's Jahlil Okafor weren't eligible in this year's NBA Draft, there's a good chance the Minnesota Timberwolves would take Ohio State point guard D'Angelo Russell, and be extremely happy.

Russell is a tremendous prospect, with size, length playmaking ability and a three-point shot. It's no surprise that Minnesota is bringing him in for a workout and probable interview. They want to gather as much information as possible on every potential candidate.
