Rasheed Wallace says Flint water crisis is like living in a 'third-world country'

Rasheed Wallace has been spending much of 2016 personally helping the residents in Flint, Michigan deal with the water crisis there in any way possible. He's driven trucks of clean water to the city himself on more than one occasion, and he wrote a passionate letter for The Players' Tribune explaining just how desperate the situation is.

Things still aren't resolved, and Wallace continued to bring attention to the crisis during a Thursday night appearance on TNT where he explained to Kevin Garnett just how dire things are.

“It’s definitely a crisis,” he said. “You wouldn’t even think that it’s part of the United States if you went up there and looked at it. It looks like a third world country. You might have 15 or 20 houses on a block, and maybe two of them are occupied. You see the boarded up homes, vacant lots — it’s nasty man, it’s disgusting.

"Even though the government sent money for help, that was months ago, and the water’s still messed up."
