Pierce and Terry wear Google Glass
Leave it to Brooklyn for something trendy like Google Glass to show up at an NBA news conference.
When Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry made their way to Atlantic Yards to be introduced as Brooklyn Nets, Barclays Center TV host Alyonka Larionov donned the funky, futuristic goggles to capture the moment. She even got Pierce and Terry to try them out, while Jason Kidd wondered if they might be able to help him with his coaching. There was no such luck getting Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov to give the glasses a whirl, though. The Russian billionaire probably knows something we all don’t about Google Glass and doesn’t want it to read his thoughts or implant a virus in his brain.
Not shown is Larionov trying to get Garnett to wear the specs. We assume that went over real well with the no-nonsense Big Ticket.
