Noah out vs. Pacers with foot injury

Published Mar. 23, 2013 1:00 a.m. ET

Chicago Bulls All-Star center Joakim Noah has a foot injury and will not play against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night.

Noah had platelet-rich plasma treatment on his right foot in February to treat plantar fasciitis and coach Tom Thibodeau said the injury has flared up.

Thibodeau said Noah is day to day and is not likely to play Sunday at Minnesota. The coach did not say who will start in Noah's place for the Bulls, who have gone 8-14 since they had been 11 games over .500 at the end of January.

Thibodeau had no update on Derrick Rose's return from knee surgery.
