NBA Hall of Famer calls Steph Curry, Klay Thompson the best shooters ever
Over the past few months, it seems like most old-school NBA players have chosen to pick apart Steph Curry's game rather than embrace it. We've seen plenty of examples throughout this season, most notably courtesy of Oscar Robertson's claim that it is poor, modern NBA coaching which has led to Curry's success, rather than his overall, once-in-a-lifetime skill.
But with the Warriors now up 2-0 on the Cavs and closing in on another NBA title, it looks like at least one former NBA star is ready to give Golden State's stars the credit they deserve. That would be seven-time All-Star and Basketball Hall of Famer Dave Bing, who told ESPN Monday that not only is Curry the best shooter of all-time, but another Warrior is the second best.
That 'teammate' of course is Klay Thompson. Bing explained what separates Steph from Klay and what takes Chef Curry's game to the next level.
Obviously this is just one man's opinion, but it's good to see an old-school player giving Curry and Thompson the credit they deserve.
It will be interesting to see if more former players start to change their tune if (aka when) the Warriors win their second straight title this summer.
