DALLAS (AP) Mavericks guard Rajon Rondo left Saturday night's game against Golden State with a hyperextended left knee and didn't return.
Rondo missed large parts of two seasons with Boston because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. He was injured when he collided with Harrison Barnes while trying to play defense in the third quarter. Rondo fell awkwardly after the collision while Barnes was driving.
The Mavericks traded for Rondo in December, and he missed six games with a broken bone near his eye in February.
Dallas was already playing without forward Chandler Parsons, who was out with right knee soreness.
