Mark Cuban says he'd discuss VP role with Clinton or Trump
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban apparently is open to discussions about a potential vice president bid -- on either ticket.
Cuban had already been linked to Hillary Clinton as a possible running mate on the Democratic ticket, in a Meet the Press excerpt released Friday night.
But in Sunday's full interview, Cuban also expressed his openness to listening to presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump as well.
"If (Trump) asked me, I'd be like, 'OK, Donald. That's great. Let's talk about it. But we're both going to have to dig in and really look and understand the issues so we can come up with solutions,' " Cuban said.
He also said Trump "has a real chance to win, and that's scary to a lot of people."

Regardless of whether he makes a grand entrance to politics at nearly the highest level in 2016, Cuban likes the idea that the avenue is more open to him now -- something he has Trump to thank for making possible.
Trump hs "opened the door to non-traditional candidates, which is a great thing," Cuban said in the interview. "You don't have to be the perfect Stepford candidate like you would've been in the past."
In fact, he said just last week that he'd been approached by anti-Trump Republicans to stage a third party candidacy challenging him, but declined.
Cuban, an independent, is a tech billionaire who bought the Mavericks for $285 million in 2000. He bought the team from H. Ross Perot, Jr ... whose father, Ross Perot, is a billionaire who ran for president in 1992.
