Magic's trio of draft picks wants to build legacy

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) The Orlando Magic went defensive with their two lottery picks and second-round selection in the NBA draft.

Fourth-overall pick Aaron Gordon out of Arizona says he's excited about the faith the Magic had in him and that he is looking forward to competing early alongside fellow selections Elfrid Payton and Roy Devyn Marble.

Though Gordon wore No. 32 growing up to honor his childhood idol Magic Johnson, he says he'll switch to No. 00 as a pro because it's ''how wide I want the fans' eyes to be when they see me on the court playing.''

Gordon and Payton already are familiar with one another, having played together on last year's gold medal U.S. Under-19 team.
