Larry Nance's son is brutally honest during work out in Boston

Larry Nance was a tremendous NBA player, a three-time All-Star who won the 1984 Slam Dunk Contest and eventually had his number retired by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Now his son, Larry Nance Jr., is looking to give the NBA a go. The Wyoming product worked out with the Celtics on Wednesday and had quite a few interesting things to say about his past and lineage:
“I wouldn’t even say I was under-recruited. I just wasn’t very good in high school. I don’t look at any (school) and get upset because they didn’t recruit me, because generally I didn’t deserve it. I got to college, grew three inches and put on 50 pounds. I loved Wyoming and wouldn’t take it back. The only reason coach (Larry) Shyatt had heard of me was because of my dad, and he had just got the job and was looking for anybody at that point.”
Well, he's certainly honest. The Celtics could look to take Nance with one of their second-round picks, even though Draft Express doesn't have him getting picked anywhere in either round. If he goes undrafted, Boston may then bring him into training camp and sign him as a free agent.
