A little over a month ago, Lamar Odom was spotted at a minor league baseball game after going through the health scare of a lifetime. On Wednesday, he was in slightly more familiar territory.

Odom sat courtside as the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Miami Heat in Kobe Bryant's last game against Dwyane Wade's squad, where he caught up with well-wishers and members of the Lakers family:

How'd Odom get such good seats? Courtesy of Bryant, naturally:

Odom famously won two championships alongside Kobe with the Lakers; he was also a member of the Miami Heat during Wade's rookie season.

Although the former NBA star achieved great heights in his professional career, his personal life has been complicated, to say the least. Most recently, of course, Odom was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel in October 2015 and required a prolonged hospital stay in Las Vegas before being moved to a facility in southern California.

Odom lost his mother at an early age to colon cancer, and his father battled substance abuse, as Odom would in turn. His son Jayden passed away in his crib from SIDS at six months old. In July 2011, his cousin was shot and killed in New York City; while in town to attend the funeral, the car in which Odom was traveling struck a motorcycle, which collided with a 15-year-old pedestrian. The young man passed away.

That August, Odom told the Los Angeles Times:

"Death always seems to be around me," Odom said in a low tone. "I've been burying people for a long time. When I had to bury my child, I probably didn't start grieving until a year and a half later.

"I think the effects of seeing [my cousin] die and then watching this kid die, it beat me down. I consider myself a little weak. I thought I was breaking down mentally. I'm doing a lot of reflecting."

After the Lakers' attempt to trade him in the vetoed Chris Paul deal, Odom bounced from the Mavericks to the Clippers, ending his NBA career where it began -- and where he was once again on Wednesday, thanks to Kobe Bryant.

It's great to see Odom looking healthy and saying hello to everyone. We wish him all the best.
