LA Clippers: Watch Jamal Crawford put on a show at Pro-Am

LA Clippers Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford puts on a show whenever he graces the court at the Pro-Am summer league, and this highlight reel shows him doing just that.

LA Clippers guard Jamal Crawford is the NBA’s “Benjamin Button.” At 36, he doesn’t look any older in terms of appearance or the fluidity at which he bounds around the court with the ball connected to and from his hands like a yoyo. He simply keeps going and keeps scoring, even though his efficiency wavers and his shot selection can be ugly at times.

While it may have been refuted by many due to that level of efficiency (shooting 40.4 percent from the floor last season), Crawford used his lack of ageing to produce a record-breaking third Sixth Man of the Year award last season. Through the down moments and shots clanging off the rim, he still provided plenty of instant offense for the Clipper’s bench and came through with several clutch moments and spells of play.

Straying away from the NBA, though, Crawford tends to look most in his element when he’s playing in the Pro-Am summer league. With more a of a street ball atmosphere, freedom to dominate the ball more often and obviously some weaker competition, Crawford looks like he’s in another class altogether.

Matching his handles and movement with the ball is still something that few players can achieve.

In this highlight mix from this summer, you can see just how much he takes over as one of the Pro-Am’s biggest stars.

Crawford’s handles are just unbelievable. They’re enough to make any amateur feel even more hopeless after hours of practice, and they still put to shame anything I could even attempt in NBA 2K17.

With a chance to show off his ball handling, deliver some creative passes and sink shots from all over the court, Crawford continually strengthens his case as one of the more entertaining basketball players to watch.

Hopefully for the LA Clippers, Crawford can maintain enough efficiency to replicate similar input off the bench in 2016-17.
