Knicks to hold training camp at West Point

Published Sep. 9, 2015 3:54 p.m. ET

The Knicks held training camp at West Point a year ago, and it appears they're at it again.

From Marc Berman of the New York Post:

A touring team from Brazil...spooky. Sounds almost ominous. That opener, by the by, will come against Paschoalotto/Bauru.

Hopefully for the Knicks, training camp will show some more positive signs than it did a season ago.

The Knicks will return to West Point to stage the first week of training camp — with the first practice on Sept. 29.

Phil Jackson’s Knicks will hold media day at their Tarrytown facility on Sept 28 before heading an hour north to Orange County’s famous military post for the second straight year. Last season’s camp at West Point was viewed a success, but the Derek Fisher-coached squad then embarked on the worst season in franchise history at 17-65.

The Knicks’ first exhibition game will be Oct. 7 at the Garden against a touring team from Brazil.
