Knicks sign free-agent forward Williams

The New York Knicks have signed free-agent forward Shawne Williams.

Terms of the deal weren't disclosed Thursday.

The 6-foot-9 Williams has averaged 5.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 13.4 minutes in 126 games in three NBA seasons with Indiana and Dallas. He was drafted 17th overall in 2006 following his freshman season at Memphis.
