Kings' Evans to miss All-Star weekend

Published Feb. 17, 2011 12:00 a.m. ET

Sacramento Kings guard Tyreke Evans will miss the Rookie Challenge at All-Star weekend with an injured left foot.

Kings President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie announced Thursday that Evans had withdrawn from the game. He will be replaced by Oklahoma City's James Harden on the sophomore team.

Evans missed the past two games because of plantar fasciitis in his left foot. He will meet with a doctor in Los Angeles next Monday for further evaluation.
