Kent Bazemore on career-best game: 'I'd rather score 1 point and win'

Don't look now, but Atlanta's Kent Bazemore has put up some huge numbers for the Hawks during their recent struggles.

Bazemore scored 28 points (11-for-18 with .611 FG%) during Atlanta's recent loss to the Heat. He also scored 22 points against the Thunder -- which also resulted in a loss for the Hawks. As one may expect, Bazemore's recent successes have earned him more playing time. He played 39:35 minutes vs. the Heat. Just a game prior, he was on the floor for just 24:37.

When asked about his best-ever game, however, Bazemore wasn't enthusiastic.

"I'd rather score one point and win," said Bazemore, via MyAJC.com.

When Atlanta faces Philadelphia, expect the emerging scorer to at least put up more than one point.
