Jordan likes Dunlap to lead Bobcats

Bobcats owner Michael Jordan says last season was as difficult as any he's endured in basketball.

The Hall of Famer said Thursday, ''I never want to be in the record books for failure.''

Jordan believes the Bobcats have the right coach in Mike Dunlap and a good core of young players who will help turn the franchise around after finishing 7-59 and with the worst winning percentage (.106) in NBA history.

Jordan says pieces still need to be added, but that the Bobcats will improve just as quickly as their new players develop - and that Dunlap is the type of teacher who can really make a difference.

Jordan says he could have played for Dunlap and ''If I could have played for this guy, anyone can play for him.''
