Johnson hits 3-pointer at buzzer, Nets beat Nuggets 105-104

NEW YORK (AP) Joe Johnson's 3-pointer at the buzzer lifted the Brooklyn Nets to a 105-104 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Monday night.

Thaddeus Young scored 20 points, Markel Brown added a career-high 19 and Johnson finished with 12 points and eight assists for Brooklyn.

Danilo Gallinari had 24 points and Kenneth Faried added 24 points and 13 rebounds for the Nuggets.

Denver won a jump ball between Faried and the Nets' Brook Lopez with 23 seconds remaining. After the Nuggets called a timeout, Emmanuel Mudiay was fouled by Shane Larkin on a drive to the basket with 4.7 seconds remaining.

Faried then took the inbound pass and hit a runner with 0.9 seconds remaining to give the Nuggets a 104-102 lead.

After Brooklyn called a timeout to advance the ball, Johnson hit the winning shot at the buzzer.
