Joakim Noah says a couple shots of tequila does him justice
On the court, Joakim Noah is anything but shy. Off the court and in front of a camera, though, is a different story for the Chicago Bulls star.
According to Luis Gomez of the Chicago Tribune, Noah needed some liquid courage to help calm his nerves during a recent photo shoot with GQ magazine, so the big man turned to an alcoholic beverage that certainly wouldn't let him down.
"I was a little nervous," Noah told GQ. "So I actually had a couple of tequila shots, and it helped me out so much."
Hopefully this isn't Noah's remedy for nerves before big games, but with the energetic All-Star putting up 12.1 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game this season, he can go ahead and keep doing what he's doing.
With LeBron James on the cover, Noah is joined by Steph Curry, James Harden and Kenneth Faried in the March issues of the magazine.
