Jazz's Williams, Clippers' Crawford out for game
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) Utah Jazz forward Marvin Williams and Los Angeles Clippers guard Jamal Crawford will miss the teams' game Friday night because of injuries.
Williams, who had two points in only 22 minutes in Wednesday's loss to Dallas, has an ailing lower back. He underwent an MRI, and the Jazz are awaiting the results, according to a team spokesperson.
When he misses a game due to injury, the Jazz are 0-11. Williams averages 9.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game and is shooting 38 percent from 3-point range.
Crawford, out with a right calf injury, is the Clippers' second-leading scorer at 18.7 points per game but has missed five of the team's past six games - all wins. Darren Collison and Matt Barnes will probably see increased playing time in his absence.
