After suffering a torn ACL in his rookie season, Jabari Parker took it as an opportunity to completely remodel and rebuild his frame.

Parker, who is expected to play primarily at power forward for the Bucks this year, decided to increase his strength and add weight in order to better play down low on the block.

Here's what Parker told SB Nation blog Brew Hoop at media day:

"I kind of struggled last year guarding a lot of fours. It's not a lot of stretch fours out there in the league, they're more stable down there. The plan was to be able to hold my ground on defense. It's something I wanted to do, too. I wanted to rebuild my body from scratch and not have any flaws."

Parker is expected to be ready for opening night.
