Hill remains San Antonio's starting point guard

George Hill remains San Antonio's starting point guard for the playoff opener against Dallas, despite aggravating an ankle injury and the presence of Tony Parker.

``(Hill) says he wants to play, so we'll give it a shot,'' Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said before the game Sunday night, adding that that he was ``nervous about it.''

``I don't know how his ankle feels,'' Popovich said. ``He says he feels good, the trainer says he can go. But we'll see.''

Hill took over the offense when Parker broke a bone in his right hand in early March. He missed four games in April because of a strained tendon in his right foot, then hurt it again in the season finale Wednesday night.

Parker has been back for six games and has come off the bench every time.
