Hassan Whiteside knows where to work on his game to help the Heat back to the playoffs

It's amazing what a difference a little bit of stability makes. For Hassan Whiteside and the Miami Heat, the simple security of a contract should pay dividends.

At a recent charity event, Whiteside said as much. It's the "first time I’ve had a summer where I know I’m going to be on a team next year. It’s really peace of mind," Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald quoted the young Heat big man as saying.

With that peace of mind, what does Whiteside plan on working on during the offseason? Whiteside said that he needs to "really work on free throws a lot more." As these playoffs have shown, sub-par free throw shooters are subject to a ton of intentional fouling, so any and all improvement by Whiteside, a 50 percent free throw shooter in 2014-15, would go a long way.
