These are three must-see shooting battles you don’t want to miss the Golden State Warriors partake in this season.

When it comes to the Golden State Warriors, it’s all about the ridiculous shootouts. Golden State is the best shooting team in the NBA and therefore, they are going to engage in shootouts with some of the best players in the league. With the addition of Kevin Durant, the team is going to have several highlight battles from all over the floor this year.

It’s easy to pinpoint other shooters around the league and pick battles that we are looking forward to. Those games are going to come against seasoned veterans, superstars and future superstars. These are the three-must see shooting battles of the season.

3. Stephen Curry vs. J.J. Redick

When it comes to pure shooters that can rival what Golden State has on their roster, J.J. Redick is one of them. When the Warriors play the Los Angeles Clippers this year, there is going to be a shootout between Stephen Curry and Redick.

While the Warriors will be the favorites in their battles, keep an eye on these two as they go toe-to-toe on the floor. This rivalry is also going to extend well beyond regular season games as well this year. Expect these two to go at it during the three-point shootout at All-Star Weekend in New Orleans.

Redick has a beautiful stroke to his shot and Curry can unload from wherever. Redick will get plenty of minutes on the floor against Golden State. This is a battle that no one is going to want to miss this season.

2. Klay Thompson vs. Devin Booker

If there is a player that could make the jump from talented rookie to superstar in year two, it’s Devin Booker. The sharpshooter from the Phoenix Suns has the ability to score in a variety of ways and his all-around game is getting a lot better. The Warriors and Suns will battle four times this year and the meetings between Booker and Klay Thompson will be great.

Coming out of the 2015 NBA Draft, Booker was compared by many to Klay Thompson. They have a penchant for shooting and can score in high volumes. The Suns gave the Warriors a battle toward the end of the year in Golden State and watching these two go at it will be a treat.

In the All-Star three-point shooting contest last season, Booker was the only non-Warrior in the final three with Thompson and Stephen Curry. There’s a lot of mutual respect between the two sides here and Booker is blossoming into something special.

Going up against a superstar like Thompson is only going to push Booker to become better. These two are going to put up a lot of points and the games between Golden State and Phoenix will likely come down to these two.

1. Kevin Durant vs. Paul George

The addition of Kevin Durant provides another lethal shooter for the Warriors this season. That means that opposing superstar small forwards and Durant are going to provide great shootout battles on the floor this season. Team USA teammates Durant and Paul George will be one to watch.

Paul George bounced back tremendously from his knee injury last season and the Pacers returned to the playoffs. This year, the Pacers have been picked by many to contend in the Eastern Conference because of the moves they have made and George being one of the best in the league.

When the Warriors take on the Pacers this season, the battles between Kevin Durant and Paul George will be a sight to behold. While there is plenty of other talent on the floor, these two are going to have their one-on-one moments.

Everyone is going to see just who can get the better of the other. In all honesty, they’ll probably trade highlights back and forth. At the end of the day, this battle will come down to who can make the last shot.
