Gerald Wallace just alley-ooped his way to revenge against former team
Over four years ago, the then-Charlotte Bobcats traded Gerald Wallace away to the Portland Trail Blazers. It was a bitter time for Charlotte. The Bobcats made the postseason the year prior for the first time since the departure of the original Hornets, but a disappointing 2010-11 season led to more losing and a rebuild for a young franchise. Wallace, who'd earned every bit of his "Crash" nickname with his kinetic play, was collateral damage to Charlotte's failings.
On March 30, Wallace turned back the clock and finally exacted his vengeance against his former team. Or he just threw down a really awesome alley-oop that reminded everyone of the glory days of "Crash" and provided a highlight in the Boston Celtics' win over the Hornets.
