A former NBA All-Star accused of squatting at an Arizona home and then trying to list the house for rent online has been sentenced to four years of probation.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 46-year-old Chris Gatling was sentenced Friday.

He pleaded guilty in August to one count of theft and one count of forgery.

Gatling was accused of breaking in the key box at the home and living there for about a year.

Police say the homeowners lived in California, but had left the power on at the Paradise Valley home.

Gatling, a 6-foot-10 power forward, averaged 10.3 points in an 11-year NBA career that ended in 2002. He played for Golden State, Miami, Dallas, New Jersey, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Denver and Cleveland and was an All-Star in 1997.
