FOX's Flinder Boyd earns Best American Sports Writing 2015 honor

The article "Run and Gun" by FOX Sports' Flinder Boyd has garnered honors as one of the Best American Sports Writing pieces in 2015, per the annual list from Glenn Stout.

The story told of the rise from schoolboy phenom in Atlanta to first-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Lakers and fall that eventually saw Javaris Crittenton wind up in prison after his role in the murder of a young woman in Atlanta.

Flinder Boyd is a former European professional basketball player turned writer. His features have appeared at Newsweek, SBNation Longform, and on the BBC among others. He grew up in Los Angeles, before attending Dartmouth College and later Queen Mary, University of London.
