Dwyane Wade said Rajon Rondo is the best point guard he’s ever played with. Wes Goldberg and David Ramil call B.S., then they talk about if the days of players playing with one team for their whole career is over (12:00), Udonis Haslem’s inspiring message to the team during training camp (19:00) and recklessly speculate about why Chris Bosh fired CAA as his agency (25:00).
Haslem’s speech, via the Miami Herald:
“When I sat in that chair 14 years ago I wanted everything. I wanted the rings. I wanted respect. I wanted to prove people wrong. I wanted to be able to take care of my family. So I mentioned to the guys last night — this is your opportunity. Don’t settle, go get everything, go get your career, go get rings, take care of your family, set your legacy up. Don’t come here and try to make the team and try to be a part of the team. Go for everything.”
And Wade’s comments, via Vincent Goodwill and Sean Highkin:
