The Denver Nuggets have been shopping around power forward Kenneth Faried all summer, but is it really likely that they make a trade happen?

As we begin to enter the preseason, are the rumors of Kenneth Faried going to come true?

After misses on trades with Minnesota and Atlanta, the Denver Nuggets may not find a suitable partner for forward Kenneth Faried.

While the terms of the Minnesota deal are foggy, Denver did swing and miss on a deal for Millsap which would have been a huge plus for the Nuggets team more than likely.

The problem with the Nuggets and Kenneth Faried is simple. They no longer have any reason to keep him. The team lacks a true superstar and is filled with several key role players. With Nurkic and Jokic looking like they may man the front court, Faried could even look many minutes to Arthur too.

The other problem is that the Nuggets will not just deal Faried. Faried still carries NBA value, and the Nuggets will not trade him for minimal return.

So, what is next then? Well, it seems if both of these are true, Faried will ride the bench more than ever. But the fan-favorite Manimal can certainly be a productive force off the best, but as his value is waning, he needs to remind Denver of his impact.
