Denver Nuggets: Emmanuel Mudiay Is Overflowing with Confidence

Emmanuel Mudiay throughout last season and training camp has been overflowing with confidence, and all Denver Nuggets’ fans should be ecstatic.
Emmanuel Mudiay started to prove his NBA potential at the backend of last season. This confidence seems to have continued into training camp. As the seven overall selection in the loaded 2015 NBA Draft, Mudiay has become a core piece of the Nuggets future.
Mudiay has impressed Mike Malone, and according to Chris Dempsey, he has taken on much more of a leadership role too.

According to Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post, Mike Malone said this when talking about Mudiay’s role:

“Physically, he’s a big, strong, imposing guard as it is. I think he’s even bigger and stronger coming into camp. He’s in great shape. He’s much more confident in himself as a leader.”
The second year point guard averaged only 2.4 turnovers per game during 29-game stretch throughout February and March. He also was able to bump up his points per game to 15.8 throughout the entire March month.
Last season, Emmanuel Mudiay shot 43.9% of his shots from pull ups. He shot over 30% of his shots after 3-6 dribbles into the possession. While not drastically good or bad, Emmanuel Mudiay may see these dip as a much more vocal floor general this season.
He is not just a floor general though; he is an Alpha.

This could be the year that Emmanuel Mudiay breaks out in Denver and hopefully can lead them to a playoff spot.
