Legendary NBA reporter Craig Sager has never worked an NBA Finals, but that's about to change.

ESPN announced that Sager, who works for Turner Sports, will join its NBA Finals broadcast team for Game 6 between the the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Game 6 is Thursday, June 16, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.

Sager was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2014, and this season his cancer returned. He has battled the cancer while still handling most of his assignments for TNT. Sager was working the playoffs even while in the middle of chemo treatment.
