Sager was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2014, and this season his cancer returned. He has battled the cancer while still handling most of his assignments for TNT. Sager was working the playoffs even while in the middle of chemo treatment.

Sager will share sideline reporting duties with Doris Burke, with Mike Breen handling the play-by-play and Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson providing analysis. Here are Breen and Burke welcoming Sager to the team.
