The Toronto Raptors have been dreaming of a day when a native Canadian would play for the NBA's only Canadian franchise. They finally realized that dream when they signed Cory Joseph to a four-year deal.
But they weren't the only ones dreaming. According to Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun, Joseph has been dreaming of playing for the Raptors as well ever since he was a little kid.
"'Of course, I dreamed about it. Thought I was a Raptor outside on my driveway when I was shooting hoops. You know, ‘five, four, three, two, one, he scores, Raptors win,' Joseph reminisced."
