Published May. 12, 2010 1:00 a.m. ET

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Nick Collison has undergone successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

The team says the procedure took place Tuesday. Collison will begin rehabilitating the knee immediately and should resume offseason training this summer.

Collison, a seven-year veteran, averaged 5.9 points and 5.1 rebounds this season in a reserve role for Oklahoma City. The Thunder lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
