Clippers G Paul listed as questionable for Game 1 vs. Rockets
The Clippers listed starting point guard Chris Paul as questionable for Game 1 of their second-round series against the Rockets after he strained a hamstring during Saturday's dramatic Game 7 win.
Paul left the game early but returned to finish with 27 points and hit the game-winning shot over Tim Duncan.
Afterward, however, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers said he was "very concerned" about Paul's injury.
"Chris may or may not play the first game," Rivers said. "The game is Monday. Right now, if I had to guess, I would say no, but I'm not sure."
Paul said he has family working on that.
"I'm going to get with our training staff," Paul said. "I know my grandmother back in North Carolina is praying. She'll let my mom pray over it and all that, too. It'll be all right."
