Central Division preview podcast with RealGM's Dave DeFour

Duncan Smith of Piston Powered joined RealGM’s Dave DeFour on his podcast to preview the Detroit Pistons and the rest of the Central Division.

Long after most of the Eastern Standard Timezone called it a night and went to bed on Wednesday night, I joined Dave DeFour of RealGM to discuss the Detroit Pistons and the rest of the Central Division on his That Guy Basketball Podcast.

Thanks to technical issues the night before after we recorded, we had to go at it again and record a second time. Our pain was your gain, as the second time around was outstanding and by far the best take.

We broke down our expectations for the division as a whole, and we spent time breaking down each team, including about 16 minutes on the Pistons themselves.

The Central Division has more potential for surprise than you might think at a glance, so some of the opinions we shared back and forth may catch you off guard.

While the Cleveland Cavaliers have the most clear-cut situation going into the 2016-17 season, teams like the Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers have more potential for both disaster and success (some with more potential for one than the other) than meets the eye.
