Cavs' Jamison has surgery on finger

Cavaliers forward Antawn Jamison has undergone surgery to fix a broken pinky that will likely sideline him for the remainder of this season.

Jamison fractured his left little finger during Sunday's 95-91 home loss to Philadelphia. On Tuesday, Jamison's finger was fixed at the Cleveland Clinic by hand specialist Dr. Thomas Graham, who was assisted by Cavaliers team physician Dr. Richard Parker.

The Cavaliers said Jamison, the club's leading scorer, will be out for 5-to-7 weeks. Cleveland's season is over in mid-April, and it's doubtful Jamison would come back to play in a handful of games.

Jamison's loss is yet another setback for the Cavaliers, who have the league's worst record. They've played better lately, going 3-3 since ending a record 26-game losing streak.
