Cavaliers reserve guard Christian Eyenga cut his toe, needed stitches and did not travel with the team for Wednesday's game in New York.

The team did not reveal Eyenga's injury until Thursday. The Cavs said Eyenga received three stitches in his right pinky toe. He cut his toe on a metal door in the Cavs' locker room before their game Tuesday night against Boston. Eyenga was inactive for Wednesday's loss to the Knicks.

Eyenga is day-to-day with the injury. Cleveland hosts the Chicago Bulls on Friday.

The Congo native has played in just six games, averaging 1.5 points and 2.0 rebounds. Eyenga also did a stint with the Cavs' Canton affiliate in the NBA Development League.
