Byron Scott: 'I don't think I did great'

After the Los Angeles Lakers finished 21-61, it would be hard for head coach Byron Scott not to take some accountability. 

The Lakers certainly dealt with injuries, including losing Kobe Bryant and rookie forward Julius Randle for the season, but Scott was honest when assessing his coaching job this year.

Here's what Scott told Mark Medina of the LA Daily News:

“I did OK. I don’t think I did great,” Scott told the LA Daily News. “I could do better.” 

“I didn’t think that we would be a playoff team,” Scott said. “But I thought we would be pretty close.”
