Bulls waive F Erik Murphy, second-round pick in 2013

DEERFIELD, Ill. -- The Chicago Bulls have waived rookie forward Erik Murphy.

The 6-foot-10 Murphy appeared in 24 games and averaged just 2.6 minutes. He was a second-round draft pick in 2013.

The Bulls announced the move on Thursday.
