Bulls reportedly agree to trade with Bucks for Michael Carter-Williams

The Bulls and the Bucks have agreed in principle to a trade that would send Michael Carter-Williams to Chicago in exchange for Tony Snell, according to multiple reports.

ESPN reports that Carter-Williams was informed of the trade on Saturday, as well.

Carter-Williams took home Rookie of the Year honors in 2014 as a member of the Sixers, but now will find himself on his third NBA team as he enters his fourth season. He's a capable defender and has improved his shooting overall, but he remains a dreadful shooter from three-point distance.

Snell, meanwhile, should get an immediate chance to contribute in Milwaukee after an underwhelming three seasons with the Bulls. The Bucks need help at the small forward position with Khris Middleton out for the bulk of the season due to injury, and Snell is a solid defender who shot better than 36 percent from beyond the arc last season.
