Bulls or Wiz? Obama says he's rolling with Chicago
Barack Obama has to toe a lot of sensitive lines. That's part of the job description when you're the commander in chief, even at the end of your second term.
But health insurance or immigration basketball is not. When recently asked whether he'd root for his hometown team, the Chicago Bulls, or his adopted one in the Washington Wizards in a potential playoff series, the president was pretty clear about who he'd favor.
“I think it’s fair to say any time the Bulls are playing I’m rooting for the Bulls,” he said in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal. “Bulls all the way, that’s how we roll.”
Should the Chicago and Washington meet, it wouldn't be until the Eastern Conference Finals. The odds on that matchup are fairly long, so Obama might not have to speak his preference too many more times.
