Bulls' Boozer, Utah's Millsap sit out

Published Mar. 12, 2011 7:36 p.m. ET

Injured forwards Carlos Boozer and Paul Millsap sat out the game between the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz on Saturday night, leaving each team without its second-leading scorer.

Boozer, averaging 18.3 points and 9.6 rebounds for the Bulls, missed his second straight game because of a sprained left ankle. He limped off the court following a flagrant foul by Kwame Brown in Wednesday's win at Charlotte and remains day to day, although coach Tom Thibodeau says his condition continues to improve. Chicago next plays Washington on Tuesday.

Millsap, averaging 16.9 points and 7.8 rebounds, missed his third straight game because of tendinitis in his left knee.
