Bosh's touching Instagram post: Supporters have 'lifted my spirits'
Chris Bosh recently got some sobering news, but it appears he's still in good spirits.
The Miami Heat announced Saturday that their All-Star forward will miss the rest of the season after blood clots were found in one of his lungs. It was a scary moment for Bosh, whose life could have been in danger if the problem wasn't discovered sooner.
The 30-year-old still is the hospital undergoing treatment, but he found the time to post an adorable Instagram photo with his son, Jackson, to thank his well-wishers for their support.
The Heat certainly will miss Bosh down the stretch this season, as they currently hold the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Yet the outpouring of support Bosh has received -- former Heat teammate LeBron James tweeted Bosh his prayers Friday -- and Bosh's gratitude for that support helps put things into perspective.
