Bosh: I had clots, Heat doctors thought my career was over

MIAMI (AP) Chris Bosh says he was dealing with multiple blood clots earlier this year, and that Miami Heat team doctors then advised him that his career ''was probably over.''

Bosh made those revelations Wednesday in a video on LeBron James' ''Uninterrupted'' platform.

Bosh says after a CT scan in Toronto during the All-Star break February, ''clots were found, again.'' It's the first time he acknowledged there was more than one clot in the medical episode that ended his 2015-16 season.

Bosh also had a clot found in one of his lungs in February 2015. In the video, Bosh says he originally expressed disbelief at the recurrence. He also says he has the right to disagree with doctors about his odds of playing again.

The Heat open training camp Tuesday.
