It's becoming increasingly clear that the Phoenix Suns and Eric Bledsoe are not on the same page.
The Suns offered the restricted free-agent point guard a four-year $48 million contract, far less than the maximum five-year, $80 million deal he's seeking, ESPN reports.
Bledsoe, 24, averaged 17.7 points, 5.5 assists and 4.7 rebounds last season, helping the Suns to a surprising 48-34 finish. Phoenix seems to have an overabundance in the backcourt, adding point guard Isaiah Thomas in free agency to a roster that already features Goran Dragic, Gerald Green, Archie Goodwin and first-round pick Tyler Ennis.

Phoenix can match any offer Bledsoe receives but might balk if a team gives him the max contract he's reportedly seeking.
