Ayesha Curry opens up on her controversial 'rigged' tweet
Almost a month after her initial comments, Ayesha Curry wants the world to know how much she regrets losing her cool during the NBA Finals.
As Game 6 between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers came to a close, Curry voiced her displeasure over what she saw as unfair treatment of husband Steph and his teammates. Ayesha went so far as to call the NBA "rigged for money" -- comments that she clearly wishes she'd never made.
Curry's regret was immediately evident, as she deleted the tweet just minutes after sharing it with her followers. Unfortunately for Curry, the internet doesn't forget. Fans, random trolls and even the official Twitter accounts for the Cavaliers and Indians made sure that she didn't hear the end of it.
Those barbs have apparently taken their toll on Ayesha:
She's absolutely right. For one, who would have imagined that Kevin Durant would join up with Steph and the Warriors? That's pretty serious business. One could almost go so far as to say that the Dubs are rigging next year's title chase.
But that would be silly.
