Watch Ryan Zimmerman give David Wright the cheapest hit of his career

In 98 career games at first base, Ryan Zimmerman has only made five errors -- good for a .994 fielding percentage. When healthy, he's among the best fielding first basemen in all of baseball.
You wouldn't know that based on his first-inning blunder against the Mets on Wednesday. Zimmerman misplayed a blooper off the bat of David Wright and found himself scrambling to recover. Only, he lost his footing and fell to the ground, flailing his glove just hoping for the ball to land in it.
Somehow, this was scored a hit for Wright. A hit! On an infield pop-up that probably could have been caught by a youngster playing tee-ball. You won't hear any complaints from Wright, though, even if it is just spring training.
His performance at the plate somewhat made up for the miscue, going 1-for-3 with a three-run home run. The Nationals went on to win 12-1.
