Watch a hard line drive rip the glove off a Rays pitcher's hand

During the bottom of the eighth inning of the Rays-Blue Jays game on Tuesday night, Toronto catcher Russell Martin lined a 93-mile-per-hour fastball right back at Tampa Bay reliever Kevin Jepsen, who had a fraction of a second to react. Jepsen got his glove on the ball at least, but then the glove exploded like Randy Johnson's bird victim. Rays shortstop Alexei Ramirez managed to quickly close in on the ricocheted ball and throw to first for the out.
